New Inspectiv Feature: Custom SLA Policies & Smarter Notifications

With our numerous ways to find vulnerabilities, ranging from bug bounty to vulnerability disclosure programs and software-based detection, we’re excited to announce a major release. It gives you more flexibility, clarity, and control over how you manage remediation timelines and notifications.

This update introduces custom SLA policies and visibility along with smarter notifications. All of these are designed to streamline your workflow and strengthen your security posture.

🛠 Why SLA Policies Matter

Service Level Agreements (SLAs) (sometimes called Operating Level Agreements internally) aren’t just deadlines—they’re a framework for ensuring your team is living up to cybersecurity best practices. It demonstrates confident commitment  to deliver on resolution times; think of it as the cybersecurity equivalent to calling your shot in basketball before making it, just less showy. By setting and tracking clear resolution times:

• Prioritize what matters most – Higher-risk issues, like critical vulnerabilities, should always be addressed before lower-severity ones. SLA policies help enforce this hierarchy.
  • Note: CVSS is a great start, but risk-related measures that take impact and likelihood of exploit are preferred whenever available.
  • Shortening decision trees with the aid of this kind of rubric helps speed resolution as well
• Build a security-first culture – Clear, measurable goals foster accountability and strengthen motivation across the team.
• Ensure metrics reflect true defenses – With consistent tracking, your remediation metrics align with real-world risk, showing stakeholders an accurate picture of your resilience.

  Complete SLA Event History

  SLA events are now logged in the vulnerability history tab:
